Junior School Overview
New Hall School is located in Essex, outside the picturesque market town of Chelmsford and just 30 minutes from Central London. The school occupies the site of Beaulieu Palace, a former royal residence built by Henry VIII in the 16th Century.
From the moment New Hall students first travel up the mile-long, tree-lined avenue that leads to the grand façade of the former Tudor palace, they will see the idyllic grounds, an ideal location for our young learners to live and learn in a safe secure environment.

Horse Riding Programme
Qualified horse-riding instructors from a local stable provide students with an excellent opportunity to develop existing skills or try horse riding for the first time.
Accommodation
Residential (8 - 17 years):
Accommodation consists of three comfortable houses accommodating students in single, twin and multi-bedded rooms with sink in each room, alongside shared bathroom facilities on every floor. The three houses are equipped with a common room with TV, DVD, sofas and a games room.
Homestay (12 - 17 years):
The homestay option is ideal for students who wish to live in a home environment and experience the culture first hand. Comfortable friendly homes with easy access to the college make this an excellent alternative to our residential option with students being taken and collected each day by their host family.
Activities & Excursions:
Social programme includes rich social acitivities, and a lot of excursions.
